finished!

That's right! As of last Friday, I am officially done with school! I can't believe I am finished with high school. It feels so awesome but yet so weird. Now I have to start thinking about college! I have an interview at DelTech next Monday. I am most likely going to be attending there in the fall. At least for now. I also applied for a scholarship so hopefully I will get free tuition. My chosen field of study (since this small community college doesn't have anything involving music, which is what I really want to study): Early Childhood Education (0-K). I am really excited about this and I hope & pray that this will be a really good experience for me. I am a little scared but it is very exciting! God is good and I am thankful that my parents have homeschooled my sisters and I all of our lives. I think it is an awesome privilege to be homeschooled. I wouldn't have traded it for anything else in the world.

My family and I are planning a graduation celebration dinner sometime this month or next. I wish you all could come. I will be sure and send you announcements though!

congrats on getting the first comment micah! :) lol. i will still be living at home, the college is really close to home/work which is nice. and i thought early childhood education would be good for homeschooling in the future. i'm not sure about being a teacher, we'll see how things go. i'd still really love to study music. but i am only planning on going to deltech for a max of 2 years so maybe after that i can go somewhere and study music. that would be so awesome. :)

yeah, we gotta start that band sometime...Faith can write our songs, and Katherine can put them to music! =)

and yeah, we often take our privilege to homeschool for granted...

I have never really tried writing music of my own before. So... it sounds cool but I don't know how good at it I would be. :) But yeah I really want to learn more about music and how to write it and how to play the piano better. It would be sooo awesome if we started a band! That would be like my dream come true. I've always wanted to have/be in a band.

And yes, Faith I'm definitely sending y'all an announcement/picture. :P

Oh and chocolate syrup is awesome.

public school ftw(for the win) here :-p jk jk Yeah homeschooling works for some people and doesn't for other but I'm glad you enjoyed it! I know I love high school, really good times and good memories! :-D Congratulations! College for me wasn't that big of a change, in fact it is somewhat easier. You get taught harder stuff but is things that you want to learn. But maybe thats because I was able to skip most of the stupid "intro" classes that everyone has to take like History, Cal 1, Goverment, etc...yay for AP credit :-D Anyways hopefully you can get that scholarship and I hope God blesses your life even more!

But ment no afence to you JOnathan but i also would like to say i have heard you say many times it is gay to be homeschooled

gay to be homeschooled??? please show me 1 time when I said that...i have NEVER said that. And the reason that I was "freaking" out is becasue you shouldn't generalize like that anyone can have an opinion but it doesn't make it right or informed just because you have one. I know you didn't mean the students, I knwo you meant the schools and you were still generalizing at that point. But oh well....whatever
